RUST CLEANER PROFESSIONAL

RUST CLEANER is a rust converter that both transforms and removes rust. It is an extremely effective agent for halting corrosion processes. It is a tannic acid, a water-based product that does not simply coat the rust like many others, but instead penetrates it deeply and dissolves it. Loose rust is washed away as a powder, while the remaining corrosion is converted into a chemically stable iron-tannin compound that is insoluble in water.

Additional information

The resulting protective layer offers excellent surface adhesion — it does not flake or peel, even after many years. Such a surface is perfectly suited for subsequent coatings (primers, paints, waxes, etc.), even up to six months after application.

RUST CLEANER reacts with iron oxides and is neutral to rubber, chrome, plastics, glass, and undamaged paint. It only becomes active upon contact with metal or rust and can be rinsed off all other surfaces with water. RUST CLEANER can also be successfully used as a preventive treatment on rust-free surfaces, such as after sandblasting or on new components.
